Woody L. Burkett, 81, a resident of Georgiana, AL died on Monday, November 26, 2012. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Stephenson and Mallory Wheat officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home directing arrangements. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 28, 2012 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home. Mr. Burkett is preceded in death by his Parents, Ethel Burkett and Charles Burkett; Sisters, Bobby Stuart and Susie Sickle; and Brothers, Greil Burkett and Charles T. Burkett Jr..
