Mrs. Willodene D. Farrell of Spanish Fort, AL, a native of Greenville, AL, and a graduate of Luverne High School, died unexpectedly Monday, March 18, 2013. Graveside service will be held Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Bethlehem Cemetery, Old Texas, Al with Rev. Randy Sexton officiating and Johnson Funeral Home, Georgiana, Al directing arrangements. Mrs. Farrell was preceded in death by her Parents, Rev. and Mrs. W.T. Davidson of Goshen, Al, and her Husband of thirty-eight years, Louie L. Farrell. Mrs. Farrell is survived by Daughter, Frances (Jack) Williams, Spanish Fort, Al; Son, Charles (Carol) Farrell, Tuscaloosa, Al; 4 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. Mrs. Farrell moved to Mobile in 1943 after graduating from Troy State Teachers College (Troy University). She worked for the Mobile County Public Schools for thirty-eight years. For many years she taught mathematics at Satsuma High School and she culminated her career by serving as the chair of guidance and counseling at Murphy High School.
