William Bryant Blackmon, 83, a resident of Georgiana, Al passed away Friday, April 15, 2016. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 18, 2016 from the Johnson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Randy Harvill officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, Al directing arrangements. Survivors include: Wife: Peggy Blackmon, Georgiana, Al; Daughters: Jennifer Waddell and Melissa McKenna, both of Tuscaloosa, Al, and Denise Griffith, Fayetteville, Ark; Sisters: Juanita Beckler and Patricia Compton, both of Georgiana, Al; Brother: Charles King Blackmon, Georgiana, Al. Bryant also leaves behind 7 Grand Children and 1 Great Grand Child. Active Pallbearers will be Brant Waddell, Trent Waddell, Connor McKenna, Mitchell Griffith, Wayne Waddell, and Stephen Blackmon. Honorary Pallbearers will be Judson Garner, Johnny Stinson, Buster Scruggs, Charles Blackmon, and Steve Griffith. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be Monday from 1 p.m. until service time.
