William Allen Bass of Brushey Creek, Alabama passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at the age of 77.

William Allen was born April 22, 1944 in Mobile, Alabama. He is preceded in death by his parents William Thirl (Jigs) Bass and Agnes Henderson Bass, son Charles Allen Bass, granddaughter Mary Katherine Bass, and sister Betty Black.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Peggy McCormick Bass, children Shannon Bass and Tammy(Gary) Glass, three grandchildren Caleb(Amber) Glass, Seth(Carley) Glass, and Anthony Bass, four great-grandchildren Ryleigh Kate Glass, Bodhi Glass, Remi Glass and TK Daughtry.

A visitation for William Allen is planned for Friday, September 3, 2021, from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Johnson's Funeral Home. The service officiated by Pastor Randy Harvill will immediately follow the visitation.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in memory of William to Brushey Creek Baptist Church.
