Miss Veta M. Ealum, a resident of McKenzie, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at the age of 70. She was born in Greenville, Alabama, on October 12, 1954.

Miss Veta was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Vera McCarter Ealum, sister-in-law Barbara Ealum, and brother-in-law Robert Peevy.

Miss Veta is survived by her siblings, Larry Ealum, Mable Peevy, and Shirley (John) Daughtery; nephews Richard Ealum, Michael Peevy, and Joey Peevy; and niece Denise Daughtery.

Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, beginning at 2 p.m. at Bushfield Cemetery, McKenzie, Alabama. The family will be receiving friends for visitation, starting at 12:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home.
