Tony Ray Skipper, age 48, of Georgiana, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 10, 2025, surrounded by love.

Born on December 31, 1976, in Montgomery, Alabama, Tony was the beloved husband of Kellie Skipper and proud father to Thomas and Troy. He had a deep love for his dog, Chip, and enjoyed the outdoors, being on the water, fishing, tending his flowers and garden, and cooking for family and friends.

Tony took great pride in his work as a cutter operator in the woods, where his dedication and skill earned the respect of his coworkers. He will be remembered for his warm heart, quick wit, and the way he could always make you laugh and smile.

Tony was preceded in death by his father, Donnie Ray Skipper, and his brother, Troy Myrick Skipper.

He is survived by his wife, Kellie Skipper; children, Thomas Skipper and Troy Skipper; mother, Lou Era Skipper; sisters, Tammy (Phillip) Branum, Tina (Tyler) Dearden, Teri (David) Shipp, and Tonia (David) Martin; brother, Trent (Aftan) Skipper; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Providence Cemetery in Georgiana, Alabama, with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Taylor Shipp, Tucker Shipp, Chandler Pugh, Jon Reid, Stacy Reid, and David Reid.
