Sula Hood Freeman, 92, a resident of Georgiana, Alabama passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2013. Her daughters and granddaughter were by her side when she drifted off to be with the Lord, her passing was a peaceful one. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Johnson Funeral Home with Rev Bill Henry officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, Alabama directing arrangements. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 15, 2013 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Ms. Freeman was preceded in death by her Husband, B.A. (Buck) Freeman, and Son, William H. (Buster) Freeman. Ms Freeman is survived by 3 Daughters, Mollie (Henry) Homer, Pensacola, Fl, Emma Goulet, Georgiana, Al, and Patty (Mike) Henry, McKenzie, Al; 8 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, and 8 Great Great Grandchildren. Ms. Sula Freeman was born in Georgiana, Alabama on September 3, 1920 to John and Ella Hood and spent her 92 years in Georgiana, Alabama and surrounding area. During her 92 years, she never had a bad word for anyone. Her laughter will remain in our hearts forever. Ms Sula Freeman has left an empty place in many hearts.
