Stanley Burkett, 88, a resident of Georgiana, Al passed away Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016 from Love's Way Church. Burial will follow in church cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, Al directing arrangements. Mr. Burkett served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Survivors include: Wife: Mary Lou Burkett, Georgiana, Al; Daughter: Diane Burkett, Greenville, Al; Grand Children: Chris Moore, Charlie Burkett, Toni McInvale, and Stephanie Moore. Mr. Burkett also leaves behind 8 Great Grand Children. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be Sunday from 1 p.m. until service time at Love's Way Church.
