Shirley Young McInvale, 74, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Sept. 2, 2010. Shirley was born in Georgiana, Al. on January 16, 1936 to Rufus and Mamie Young. She was a graduate of Georgiana High School, Class of 1954. Shirley worked for the Max Kahn Corp. for 32 years. After retiring in 1998 she became a stay at home wife, mother, and grandmother that she enjoyed the most. She was a member of Bower Memorial Baptist Church, Evergreen, Al. She is survived by her husband of 56 years David McInvale of Evergreen, Al. Three sons, Gary McInvale of Evergreen, Al. Dale (Ruth) McInvale, Midland, Tx. and Joe McInvale of Pensacola, Fl. One brother, Harold (Lisa) Young, Andalusia, Al.; 4 Grand Children, Jake McInvale of Evergreen, Al., Jeremy Bradford, Brandon Shelton, and Taylor McInvale, all of Midland, Tx.; 4 Great Grand Children, Jay Bradford, Dillon Bradford, Braden Shelton, and Braxton Shelton, all of Midland, Tx.; Funeral services will be held 3 p.m Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010 from the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Griffin officiating. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, Al. directing.
