Memorial service for Ms. Sheryl Robin McCain, of Georgiana AL will be held at 1pm on May 4th, 2021 at Johnson Funeral Home with Bro. C.A. Bennett officiating.

Sheryl was born May 16, 1956 in Queens, NY to the (late) Mary Ann and Wade McCain. She slipped into her untimely death on April 27, 2021.

Growing up she loved and lived life. It would be fair to say she enjoyed it carefree and to the fullest. She studied art and theater while modeling. Her love for all sorts of music and art for eccentric. She volunteered at the Montgomery Museum of fine Arts. Music, Traveling, Painting, sketching people, and creating abstracts were her favorite past time. Not only did she receive a Masters in Education, but she also acquired a photography degree.

Her passion and love for other cultures lead her to become a world traveler, visiting Africa, France, Mexico, and New Zealand just to mention a few. In addition, she had a passion for deep sea fishing. She always caught and picked the biggest fish to eat.

She was known as the cool mom growing up and the coolest aunt. She loved a good party and knew how to get people to let their hair down. She was always the shoulder to cry on and gave you the advice you needed, not what you wanted to hear.

She leaves to mourn two sons Ali McCain and Andrew T. Walker. Ali was not only her son, but her best friend. Ali would call her and talk for hours about everything which included plenty of jokes and laughter. She also leaves behind her parents, Wade and Anna McCain; grandchildren Dominic McCain and Jazmyn McCain; eight sisters Angie, Syundah, late Linda, Elethiana (Willie), Gyllane, Aaliyah, Mia (Kurt); two brothers Toni and Gerl; aunt Georgia Brooks; and a host of cousins and friends.
