Graveside Service for Shere Lea Simpson, 55, of Georgiana will be held at 1pm at Oakwood Cemetery on Saturday February 20, 2021 with Rev. Anthony Maye officiating with a solo by San Campbell. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:30am-12:30pm. Mrs. Simpson passed away on Monday.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Donzell Simpson; children Marcus Simpson (Kimyata), Brandon Simpson (Otikia), Laquitta Rudolph (Cory); eight grandchildren Krystiyana Simpson, Marcus Jr Simpson, Aviyanna Simpson, Jacorian Simpson, Alayleeh Simpson, Kasiyaa Simpson, Oliviaa Simpson, Brandon Simpson Jr.; brothers Earl Williams, Navone Williams, Melvin Williams, Jerry Williams, Jerome Williams, Nathaniel Williams; sister Mary Louise Williams; aunt Willy Bell Ewing several nieces and nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her brothers Terry Lee Williams and Orbey Williams Jr.; sister Marcia Williams; her parents Orbey Williams Sr. and Mary Ellen Ewing Williams; and her grandparents Bennie and Hattie Ewing.

Mrs. Simpson worked for Covington Hospice for over 20 years where she cared about every patient she served. She was a member of 2nd Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing with her kids and grandkids. She loved to sell her Paparazzi Jewlery. She was a sweet, loving person. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister and will be greatly missed.
