Shelby Dewayne Gorum, 67, a resident of River Falls, AL was born Jan. 26, 1950 and passed away Monday, Feb. 20, 2017. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017 from the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Brooks Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, AL directing arrangements. Shelby was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Gorum. Survivors include: Sons: Dale Taylor, Opp, AL, Ladon Gourm, Georgiana, AL, and Bill Gorum, McKenzie, AL; Sister: Charlotte Powell, Bay Minette, AL; Brothers: Bobby Gourm, Omaha, NE,Jerry Gorum, McKenzie, AL.
