SALTER, SARAH NELL, 92, a resident of Greenville, Al, died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, 2011 from the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Lovett and Rev. Herbert Brown officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, Al directing arrangements. Grand Sons will serve as pallbearers. Ms. Salter is proceeded in death by her husband, James Edward Salter, daughter, Hilda Kent, and son, Phillip Salter. Survivors included: Daughters: Glenda (Buddy) Burke, Equality, Al, Genese (Edwin) Mitchell, Brantley, Al, Deborah (Bill) Coker, Greenville, Al, and Susan (Pete) Reeder, Jacksonville, Al; Sons: Joe (Dianne) Salter, Perry Salter, and Paul (Dianne) Salter, all of Greenville, Al, and David (Sherry) Salter, Georgiana, Al. Brother, Montie (Edna) Martin, Greenville, Al; 23 Grand Children 50 Great Grand Children 4 Great Great Grand Children. Visitation will be at the church from 1 p.m. Saturday until funeral time.
