Santifee Hughes Hodges passed away quietly at Crowe Health Care in Greenville, Al. at the age of 87. Graveside services will be held August 15, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, Al directing arrangements. Born July 9, l925 she was the daughter of the late Clifton and Victoria Hughes. Her brothers, L.J. Hughes, Earl Hughes, James Hughes, and her sisters, Millie Sketchley, and Merle Bentley, preceded here in death. She was married for 66 years to Wynton Hodges who passed away on January 26, 2011. Santifee Hodges graduated from Georgiana High School. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Georgiana. She had many different careers in her life time-she was a seamstress, a homemaker, and a bank teller, She lived by the motto "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all". She is survived by son, Wynton (Emily) Hodges, Jr, Leeds, Al; Daughter: Ruby Hodges (Terry) McInvale, Georgiana, Al; Grand Sons: Anson Drake (Crystal) McInvale, Greenville, Al and Randall Wynton Hodges, Leeds, Al; Great Grand Sons: Baker Zane McInvale and Lance Cole McInvale, both of Greenville, Al.
