Ralph Houston Burkett, 83, a resident of Brewton, Al, died Friday, Jan. 7, 2011 in a Brewton, Al. hospital. Fuenral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011 from the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Joyner officiating. Burial will follow in Morrow Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, Al. directing arrangements. Survivors include: Wife: Shirley Burkett, Brewton, Al; Daughter: Judy Wallace, Excel, Al; Step Sons: Donald Ray Jernigan and James Jernigan, both of Brewton, Al; Step Daughters: Jean Lunsford, Jay, Fla, Patricia Colbert, Miss., and Paula Sue Mount, Luverne. A number of Grand Children and a number of Great Grand Children. Visitation will be Monday, Jan. 10, 2011 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home.
