Mazie Norrell Gandy, 90, a resident of Georgiana, AL passed away Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, 2018 from the Johnson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Herbert Brown and Rev. Allen Stephenson officiating. Burial will follow in Flat Rock Chapel Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, AL directing arrangements. Mazie was preceded in death by her husbands, James Norrell and Lester Gandy, sister, Vivian Coleman, and brother, Buddy Coleman. Survivors include: Daughters: Kathy (Gary) Bozeman, Georgiana, AL and Joreka (Allen) Pitts, Greenville, AL; Son: Jimmy (Patricia) Norrell, Niceville, FL; Sisters: Maxine Coleman and Joan Tyree, both of Greenville, AL; Brother: Don Coleman, Milton, FL. Mazie is also survived by 7 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren and number 10 is on the way. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 1 p.m. Monday until service time.
