Mary Annie Nanry was born in McKenzie, Alabama to Newton and Alice Hester. She was the youngest of 13 children that all preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband George nanry; son Robert (Bobby) Jones; daughter in law Rose Hagan Jones.

She is survived by her children Alice Victoria Jones, Susan (David) Bradford, Ronald Bruce Jones; 4 grandchildren Christopher (Stephanie) Jones, Jason Jones, Rebecca (Tre') Smith, Hannah Jones; 7 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home.
