Graveside Service for Mrs. Mary Lou Burkett, 90, of Georgiana will be held at Love's Way Cemetery at 11am on Saturday, September 25th, 2021 with Rev. Mike Holcomb officiating. Mrs. Burkett passed away on Wednesday, September 22nd, 2021 in Greenville.

She is survived by her daughter Diane Burkett; grandchildren Chris Moore (Chrissy), Tony McInvale (Gerald), Stephanie Boswell (David), and Charlie Burkett (Carrie); ten great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; sister Dorothy Wagnon and Judy Wiggins (Doyle); brother Sherrill Nichols (Marie); several nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Stanley Burkett; son Tommy Burkett; brother Joe Nichols, Jack Nichols, and Charles Nichols; and her parents Wesley and Julia Nichols.

Pallbearers will be Tim Burkett, Patrick Odom, Timothy Gorum, Dylan Giddens, Gerald McInvale, and Anthony Wagnon.

She was a founding member of Love's Way Church. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a terrific mom and wonderful wife.
