Marcie Lajune Holley, age 87, of Georgiana, Alabama passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday. October 25, 2022 at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Georgiana, Alabama, with Rev. Gayle Woodard officiating, with Johnson Funeral Home, Georgiana, Alabama directing arrangements.. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, October 24, 2022 at Johnson Funeral Home.

Marcie Holley is survived by her Son: Kyle Holley; Stepchildren: Phillip Holley, and Sue Holley; Step Grandchildren: Allen Bolden, Amanda Bolden, Brian Holley, and Rachel Holley.

Marcie Holley is preceded in death by her Husband: Wilton Lofton Holley; Parents: Levy L. & Essie Blackmon Davis; Siblings: Alker Davis, Cecil Davis, Harold Davis, Estic Davis, Carlton Davis, Clancey Bozeman, Gloria Mosley, Twynette Sexton, Wilford Davis.

Marcie Holley was Ms. Georgiana High School in 1955. Marcie Holley started out as a young person working at the Corner Grocery Store and Jr. Food Store. She then went to work at Union Camp. She was a waitress at the 2 truck stops at the interstate in Georgiana, Alabama. She then moved to being a teachers aid at Robert L Austin School, in Georgiana Alabama, she was loved and adored by all the kids. She then opened up Holley's Grocery in McKenzie, Alabama was in business for 19 years.
