Kenneth Colquit Livingston, 89, a resident of Georgiana, AL, died at his home on November 16, 2016. The funeral service will be (Sunday, November 20, 2016) at 2:00 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Griffin officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at 1:00 p,m.Having spent his early years in Neshoba County, Mississippi, Mr. Livingston served for a time in the United States Army. He moved to the Friendship community 42 years ago after serving for 20 years in the United States Air Force. He served as a deacon at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and was a faithful friend and father. Mr. Livingston was preceded in death by one sister (Mary Francis Hilburn) and two brothers (James K. and C. Coolidge). He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Maxine Hughes Livingston; daughters: Brenda Bradley of Waco, TX; Julia Hutsell of Johnson City, TN; and Mary Livingston of Ellijay, GA ; grandchildren: Christopher and Stephen Soroka, Hannah and Isaac Bradley, and Cameron Lutz; great granddaughter: Addison Soroka; sisters: Prudie Fulton, Joicy Dees, Hazel Ruf, and Susanna Lambert; and many nieces and nephews.
