Graveside service for Mrs. June Parker Joyner, 83, of McKenzie will be held at 11am on Monday, June 1st 2020 with Alan Odom officiating. Mrs. Joyner passed away Friday, May 29th, 2020.

She is survived by her son Danny Joyner; daughter Michelle Joyner Skaggs ( Paul); grandchildren Erin Skaggs Weber (Stephen), Brad Joyner, Laurie Skaggs Varnon, Ashley Joyner; great-grandchildren Parker Joseph Weber and Olivia Charlotte Varnon; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Rufus Wyatt Joyner; her parents Joe Vickery Parker and Eddie Lee Parker; brothers Joe Ingram Parker and Melvin Wyatt Parker.

Mrs. Joyner began her career in healthcare in 1972 and retired from Crowne Healthcare of Greenville in 1999. She loved to travel with her husband in their RV and spending time at their house on Lake Martin. She loved to go antiquing and collecting knick-knacks. She was a lifelong member of Community of Christ church, formerly The Reorganzied Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Ivy Creek Hospice at 500 Hospital Drive, Wetumpka, AL 36092 to the Friends of Hospice account.
