Joyce Anne Quates Coker, of Midland City, AL passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018. Joyce was born April 24, 1964 to Gracie Hooks and Melvin Quates. Joyce was the baby of six and the only daughter. She has five older brothers, Larry, Eddie (Ann), Clarence (Vickie) Terry, and Roy Quates. She had two daughters Ashley (James) Kirkland and Suzanne Coker and one granddaughter, Veronika Coker. She also leaves behind her ex-husband, Jeff Coker and four fur grandbabies. She will be missed but not forgotten. We know she is now at peace with God and up in Heaven with her loved one's and surrounded by her loving family at her bedside. A Celebration of Life will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 9, 2018 at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Vernie Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Bushfield Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home, Georgiana, Al directing arrangements. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 1 p.m. until service time.
