Joseph Columbus Dean, 71, a resident of McKenzie, Al died Tuesday, August 28, 2012. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2012 from the Garland Baptist Church with Rev. James Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Garland Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, Al directing arrangements. The family will accept friends on Friday evening beginning at 5:00 p.m. at Garland Baptist Church. Mr. Dean is survived by his Wife, Janice Dean, McKenzie, Al; Daughters, Jan Shirley and Amy Dean, both of McKenzie, Al; Son, Ira Dean, Georgiana, Al; Sister, Lou Ellen Knight, McKenzie, Al; Brothers, Ronald Dean, Hayneville, Al and Jerry Dean, Greenville, Al; and Grandson: Joseph Johnson, McKenzie, Al.
