John Howard Kervin, age 91, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026.

Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026, beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Macedonia Cemetery, Georgiana, Alabama with Johnson Funeral Home directing. The family will be receiving friends for visitation on Sunday at Johnson Funeral Home, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. 

He was preceded in death by his father Houston Kervin; his mother Lucille Kervin; his wife Voncille Owens Kervin; his sons Steve Kervin, and Jim Kervin; sister Mona "Marsha" Kervin Mixon.

He is survived by his son Christopher (Heather) Kervin; sister Elizabeth Rowell; brothers Rufus Kervin, Wheeler Kervin, and Isaac Kervin; grandchildren Carlie Kervin, Connor Kervin, Steven Kervin, and Ryan Kervin.

Pallbearers Connor Kervin, Steven Kervin, Zachary Kervin, Chip Kervin, Josh Kervin, and Burt Rowell. Honorary pallbearers Danny Bond, Tim Craig, John McGowan, Jimmy Rowell, Lester Odom, Oren Fannin, and Terry Hinson.
