Jamie N. Pouncey, 87, a resident of Wetumpka, AL and formerly of Georgiana, AL passed away Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2016. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, 2017 from Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with Rev. Danny Ellis officiating. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, Al directing arrangements. Jamie was preceded in death by his parents, Mace and Vera Pouncey, sisters, Unavay Pouncey and Lurlene Johnson, and brother, Dewey Pouncey. Survivors include: Sister: Janell Powell, Greenville, AL; Brothers: Frank Pouncey, Greenville, AL and Winton Pouncey, Rhode Island. Jamie is also survived by a number of Nieces and Nephews. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. A Gathering of Family and Friend will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Johnson Funeral home.
