James Albert Whitehead (Jim) departed this life February 5, 2016. He was born in Georgiana, Alabama on April 3, 1936 and completed high school there. He attended Troy State University, and sang with the Collegiate Singers there. After working many years in Woodbridge, Virginia, he moved to Montgomery, Alabama in 2001 to be near his brother, Benton and his family. He worked several years for Residence Group in Montgomery and made many friends among the tenants and his co-workers. He was preceded in death by his parents, L.B. and Ila Mae Whitehead, brothers, Benton and John Whitehead. He leaves to cherish many wonderful memories, his Wife: Patricia Whitehead, Daughter: Wynn Robertson, Stepsons: Rick and Tim Hansen, Five Grand Children and many dear friends from Crump Senior Center. A Memorial Service will be 2 p.m.Friday, June 3, 2016 from First Baptist Church Georgiana, Al. He will be buried next to his parents in Georgiana, Alabama.
