Jack Gipson, 79, a resident of Georgiana, Al passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2016. A Celebration of Life will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2016 at East Side Baptist Church, Georgiana, Al with Rev. Don Herring officiating. Burial will follow in East Side Baptist Church Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home, Georgiana, Al directing arrangements. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be 1 p.m. until service time. Mr. Gipson was preceded in death by his Grandson: Joseph Hitson. Survivors Included: Wife: Shirley Gipson, Georgiana, Al; Daughter: Lanell Hilburn, Georgiana, Al; Son: Gary Gipson, Georgiana, Al; Sister: Claudie Herring, Georgiana, Al; Grandchildren: Jarrod Hitson, Georgiana, Al, Jessica Jones, McKenzie, Al, Hannah Nichols, Birmingham, Al, Cody Gipson, Georgiana, Al, Heather Taylor, Gulf Shores, Al, Heath Hilburn, Highland Home, Al, Adrian Hilburn, Red Level, Al; and 13 Great Grandchildren.
