Harry Neil Mitchell, 82, a resident of Fort Deposit, Alabama passed away on April 22, 2024, surrounded by his family.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Herbert Brown officiating, with Johnson Funeral Home directing. A burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Red Level, Alabama. The family will be receiving friends for visitation, Friday, April 26, 2024, at Johnson Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Mr. Harry was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Ruth Mitchell; parents, William and Fannie Lou Mitchell; brothers, Billy Joe Mitchell, and Jimmy Mitchell.

Mr. Harry is survived by his wife, Dale Mitchell; children, Dody Nettles (J.D.), Harry Neil Mitchell, Jr., Amy Russell (Paul); grandchildren, Laramie Copeland (Chris), Landon Matthews (Greyson), Tyler Nettles, Leif Nettles, Danielle Hollyfield (Michael), Tobey Mitchell (Daryll), Mitchell Patterson, Turner Patterson; step-son, Jeffery Gardner (Addie); brother-in-law; Michael Tindal (Amanda); great grandchildren, Mary Turner Copeland, Harrison Matthews, Aiden Mitchell, Gantt Mitchell, Tyler Hollyfield, Brayden Hollyfield, Cameron Hollyfield; sister, Memory Barrow; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many, many, many close friends.
