Graveside Service for Ms. Gloria Duke, 74, of Honoraville, will be held at 2pm on Monday, January 4 2021 at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Gaston officiating. The family will receive friends from 12-1:30pm Monday at the funeral home. Ms. Duke passed away at her home on December 30, 2020.

She is survived by her two sisters, Sandra Bell and Elaine Johnson; step-daughters Stephanie Pierce and Debra Scruggs; step-granddaughter Tiffany Barber; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded by her husband, Selton Earl Duke; four brothers, Edward, Ray, Johnny, and Gerald Duke; sisters Betty Jackson, Claudie Harris, Myra Rutledge, Kathryn Sexton, Dolores Ann Duke, and Fairy Allen; step-grandson Bryan Stinson; and her parents Charlie Eugene and Montrie Idell Duke.

Pallbearers will be Freddy Benitez, Dwayne Duke, Daniel Bell, Matthew Sexton, Danny Keith Scruggs, and Adam Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Joe 2nd and Ethan Kyle Johnson.

She enjoyed passing her time with crossword puzzles, browsing Facebook, watching soap operas and Family Feud. She loved to have gatherings at her home and spending time with her family, especially during the holidays. She was the glue that held our family together. She will be greatly missed.
