George Lee Cobb, 66, a resident of PineApple, Al and the Midway Community passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014. A Celebration of Life will be 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, 2014 from the Midway Baptist Church with Rev. E.J. Waters and Rev. Joe Booker officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, Al directing arrangements. George was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Waren and Josephine Raines Cobb, Sister, Patricia Gilmore, and brother, Julius Booker. George Lee was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. Survivors include: Son: Waren (Sherry) Cobb, Georgiana; Daughters: Sandy (John) Presley, Monroeville, Al and Becky Cobb, Greenville, Al; Grand Children: Justin Cobb and Thomas Cobb, both of Georgiana, Al, Zack (Shelby) Presley, Waynesboro, Ms, Shanna Presley and Will Presley, both of Monroeville, Al, Christopher Cobb and Trey Little, both of Greenville, Al; Sisters: Vivian Crysell, Monroeville, Al, Betty Joe Lee, Repton, Al, Katharene Cobb, Midway, Al, and Mary Lee Poss, Dallas, Ga; Brothers: Winford Cobb, Dayton, Tx and Joel Cobb, PineApple, Al; 2 Great Grand Children 22 Nieces and Nephews.
