Evelyn Smith Lee formerly of McKenzie Alabama transitioned to heaven on November 6, 2015 at her home in Montgomery Al surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 1, 1920. She was a much loved and admired Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She is proceeded in death by her Daughter: Jackie Casey, and her Son: Ken Lee and Husband Vester Lee. She is survived by her Daughters: Jerita Braun of Montgomery, Judy (Steve) Stark of Cleveland Georgia, JoAnn (Jimmy) Lawrence of Montgomery, and Janet (Frank) Lanier of Montgomery; Daughters-in-laws: Brigitte Lee or Millbrook and Lena Lee of Sweden; Brother: Ferrel Smith of Orlando, two Sisters: Betty Cockcroft and Sybil King of Andalusia. In addition she is survived by four Grandsons: (Sean Lee, Will Casey, Michael Braun, Ian Braun) and six Granddaughters: (Alyson Casey, Jo Lindstrom , Cheri Moon, Cheryl Hynes, Michelle Kelly and Lindsay Kennington and their families. She had 13 great grandchildren. Grandma Evelyn had a brilliant mind and was a gifted storyteller and artist. She loved her Lord and her family with all her heart. She was truly an example of motherly love. Pallbearers: Frank Lanier, Jimmy Lawrence, Steve Stark, Michael Braun, Ian Braun, Sean Lee.

A Celebration of Life will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Sweet Home Church, Shreve, Alabama with Allen Joyner and Rev.Richard Dour officiating. Burial will follow in Sweet Home Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home, Georgiana, Al directing arrangements.
