Shell, Emma Jean (Curry), 85, a resident of Georgiana, Alabama, died Sunday, January 20, 2013 at her home. Funeral services for Mrs. Shell will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Brushey Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Harvill officiating. Her body will lie in state at the church from 1 p.m. until funeral time. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be accepting friends on Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel, Georgiana, Alabama. She is survived by her Daughter, Jennifer Shell, Georgiana, Alabama; Sons, Stephen and John Mark Shell, both of Georgiana, Alabama; Brother, Thomas Curry, Sr., Orlando, Florida; Sisters in Law, Gail Curry, Durham, North Carolina and Janie Curry, Alexander City, Alabama; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The Shell family would like to extend gratitude to Caregiver, Sue Ellen Curry; Hospice Aid, Shere Simpson; and the Covenant Care Hospice Nurses for their dedication, attentiveness, and loving care that was provided for their mother.
