Edna Cross, age 89, of Enterprise, AL formerly of Red Level, AL, went home to see her Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, on November 11, 2021 following a battle with Parkinson's. Her earthly body was just to weak and tired to fight anymore, but, praise God Almighty, she has a brand new whole body and is resting this very moment in God's Holy Arms!

Edna was predeceased by her mother, Mary Wells Morris Cook; father Ennis Morris; step-father Madison Helon Cook; sister Nell Pierce; and her husband of 69 years at his death in 2018, Allen Durwood Cross.

Edna is survived by her daughter, Debra; grandson Brian Middleton; and two sisters Jane and Betty.

Going home services will be held at 11am on November 13, 2021 at Johnson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home starting at 10am and continue until service time. Interment will follow immediately after service at Vera Cruz Methodist Church Cemetery in Red Level, AL. All are invited to attend.
