Edith Diamond Young, 86, a resident of McKenzie, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2013 from Pleasant Hill Cemetery, McKenzie, Alabama with Rev. Dwight Vickery and Rev. Robert Watford officiating and Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, Alabama directing arrangements. The Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 1.30 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, Georgiana, Alabama follow by Graveside service. Ms. Young is preceeded in death by her Husband, Almon Leigh Young, and her Granddaughter, Amy Rebecca Young Barber. Ms. Young is survived by her Daughters, Julia Faye (Billy) Lynch, McKenzie, Alabama, and Martha Virginia (Tommy) Hartley, Evergreen, Alabama; Sons, Martin Earle (Loretta) Young, Brooklyn, Alabama, Donald Almon (Kate) Young, Montgomery, Alabama, and Robert Edward (Charlotte) Young, Eufaula, Alabama; 11 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild, 2 Step Grandchildren, and 3 Step Great Grandchildren.
