Miss Dorris Black Booker, of Georgiana, Alabama, passed away on September 14, 2025

Graveside Services will be held on September 16, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery in Georgiana, Alabama. The family will accept friends for visitation beginning at 1 p.m.until 1:30 p.m., on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Johnson Funeral Home. Brother Randy Harvill officiating and Johnson Funeral Home directing.

Miss Dorris is preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Alva Black; sisters, Mary Frances Black, and Voncile Black Leysath.

She is survived by her daughters, Janice Booker Dean, and Barbarra Diane Booker; grandson, Ira Bradley Dean; granddaughters, Jan Dean (Greg) Shirley, and Amy Carole Dean; and great-grandson, Joseph Columbus Dean.
