Dorothy Bowen Taylor, 96, a resident of Ft. Deposit, AL passed away Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018 from Bethel Methodist Church with Rev. Gayle Woodard, Rick Taylor, and Rev. Lynn Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, AL directing arrangements. Survivors include: Daughter: Melissa Taylor Rouze, Prattville, AL; Son: Richard F. (Lynn) Taylor, Ft. Deposit, AL; Sister: Sara Stephenson, Fairhope, AL; Brothers: Irby Bowen, Lapine, AL and Marion Bowen, Prattville, AL; Grandchildren: Kristin (Scott) Taylor, Greenville, AL, Aaron (Vanessa) Taylor, Ft. Deposit, AL, and Rebecca Claire Rouze, Prattville, AL; Great Grandchildren: Avery and Ansley Taylor, Ft. Deposit, AL and Jordyn and Rylee Taylor, Greenville, AL. Dorothy is also survived by a number of beloved Nieces and Nephews. The family would like to thank the workers of Comfort Care Hospice of Greenville, AL for the care and concern that was shown to "Nanny" and the family.
