Dorothy Sue Pitts, 96, a resident of Georgiana, Alabama passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 8, 2025.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Buddy Williams and Bro. Tim Boggs officiating and Johnson Funeral directing. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Methodist Cemetery, Evergreen, Alabama. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time.

Mrs. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, John Alex Pitts; daughters: Marilyn Pitts Brannon and Dorothy Melissa Pitts; parents, Zollie and Lillie Coker; brother, Samuel Terry Coker.

Mrs. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Mary Cathryn Pitts; son-in-law, Jimmy R Brannon; granddaughter, Melissa Brannon; grandson, Matthew Brannon; sister-in-law, Carolyn R Coker; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
