Graveside service for Dale Whittington,78, of Greenville will be held at 2pm on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Larry Gaston officiating. Mr. Whittington passed away on Wednesday in Greenville.

He is survived by his sisters Hellon Knowles and Merle Vickery; nieces Kim Lakes (Michael) and Lorraine Large; nephews Joe Byrd, David Whittington, and Pat Bagg; and many many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Evvie Whittington; brother Refford Whittington; and brothers-in-law Frank Knowles and Pejo Vickery.

Dale was a well known utility man who was loved by all. He also served in the United States Army.
