Cumi Brannon Stuart passed away quietly at Troy Health and Rehabilitation May 18, 2012. Mrs Stuart was born September 6, 1918. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Rufus A. Stuart. Survivors include: Daughters, Shelby Stuart Brown, Troy, Al, and Sue Stuart Brannon, Montgomery, Al; Sons, Wayne (Barbara) Stuart, Deatsville, Al and Joseph (Jean) Stuart, Huntsville, Al; Grand Children, Thom Brannon, Montgomery, Al, Jonathan (Christy) Stuart, Wetumpka, Al, Richard (Stephanie) Brown, Tuscaloosa, Al, Mark (Katie) Stuart) Deatsville,Al; 8 Great Grand Children. Sisters, Juanita Carter, Greenville, Al, Sue McFerrin, Greenville, Al, and Evelyn Pride, Niceville, Fl. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Winfred Brannon and John Brannon. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2012 from the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Sexton officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
