Cheryl Rae Powell, 66, a resident of Georgiana, Al., died Monday, Sept. 27, 2010. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010 from the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, Al. directing. Survivors include: Husband: Robert Lewis Powell, Sr., Georgiana, Al. Son: Robert Lewis (Darlene) Powell, Jr., Adairsville, Ga.; Daughters: Kathy (Roger) Powell, Andalusia, Al. and Debbie (Steve) Maddry, Clarksburg, Md.; Brother: Johnny (Doris) Thomas, Mobile, Al; Sister: Betty Thomas, Mobile, Al; Grand Children: Wes Powell, Chase Powell, Allyn Powell, Lauren Powell, Steven Maddry, and Megan Maddry.
