Charlotte Bennett Scott, 78, of Georgiana, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2026, Charlotte was born July 25, 1948.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her father Franklin J Bennett, her mother, Abbie Lee Defee Bennett, her brother Jeff Bennett and her sister, Faye Bennett Bellach.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Vernie Scott, and numerous other family members and friends.

graveside Services will be held Monday, August 31, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery in Georgiana, Alabama with Rev Mark Barilo officiating and Johnson Funeral Home directing.

Active Pallbearers will be Buford Scott, Marlin Scott, Denson Scott, Layton Scott, Tony Scott, and Christopher Scottt.

The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Sothern Care hospice and Georgiana Health and Rehabilitation Nursing Home for their wonderful care given to Charlotte during their difficult time.
