Funeral Service for Cayson Zaine Peavy will be held at 2pm on October 10, 2021 at Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Tracy Stinson officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Saturday night at the funeral home.

Cayson Zaine Peavy, 4, from Greenville, Alabama, along with his mother Gracelyn Fayeth Kelley, passed away unexpectedly on October 1st, 2021 after a tragic car accident in Colorado.

Cayson was preceded in death by his great grandfathers, John Robert Lide, Hurston Wayne Kelley, and Timothy Mark Spurlock.

He is survived by his father, Torey Peavy, brothers, Carter Oneal Peavy and Cody Ladon Wayne Peavy (now deceased); his grandparents, Jana Suzanne Lide (Wade Parker) of Greenville, Troy Wayne Kelley (Renae) of West Point, Texas, Teresa and Brennon Peavy of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Jason Browder of McKenzie, Alabama; his great grandparents, Janice Faye Newton Lide of Greenville and Sarah Faye Sexton Spurlock of Chapman; his uncles, John Ward of Greenville, Pancho Martinez and Cali Cardenas of West Point, Texas; and his aunts, Chasity Tolin of Cheyenne, Samantha Wood (Justin), and Jessica and Eliana Martinez of West Point. He is also survived by the following first cousins: Trinity Skipper, Taylon, Trenton, and Tiegan Tolin, Lexie, Justin, and Avelyn Wood, and Hailey Boggan.

Pallbearers will be John Nathan Ward, Israel Seth Kelley II, Joseph Wayne Kelley, Barry Eric Miller, Donald Lee Cook, Matthew Weston Powell, Landon Chase Powell, and Dylan Parker Hughes.
