Brenda Kay McCann, age 71, a resident of Georgiana, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026.

The family will be receiving friends for visitation at Johnson Funeral Home, on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

Mrs. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, John William Earnest Cooper and Gladys Majors Cooper.

Mrs. Brenda is survived by her husband of 48 years, John Daniel McCann; daughters, Jennifer Taylor (Keith), Tracey Finn (Michael), Amanda Johnson (Keith); grandchildren, Nathan Scruggs (Casey), Katlyn Williams (Bradley), Meagan Boggan, Keaton Michael Finn, Kyle Mason Finn; great grandchildren, Tinsley Hendrix, Ezekiel Williams, Skylar Owens, Marilyn Ownes; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Brenda worked for 17 years at Allied and 15 years at Bates House of Turkey, she had a love for the beach, flowers, and her animals. She will be missed by all her family and loved ones.
