Annie Elizabeth McInvale Black of Georgiana, AL, age 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family early Wednesday morning, June 4, 2014. Annie was wed to Harry Timothy Black on May 31, 1947, for 47 years and had five children. She was a faithful employee for 44 years at Nightingale Uniform Company. Annie was predeceased in death by her Parents: James Albert McInvale and Ila Mae Vickery McInvale, her Husband: Harry Timothy Black, three Brothers: James, Julian, Jewel McInvale, Daughter-In-Law, Cathy Black, and Brother-in-law: Donald L. Peck. Survivors: Sue (Tony) Peavy, Georgiana, Alabama, Leanne Lincoln, Greenville, Alabama; Sons: Jimmy (Jackie) Black, Lucedale, Missisippi, Charles (Jane) Black, Conyers, Georgia, Joe Black, Greenville, Alabama; Sisters: Frances ( Carl) Robinson, Pineapple, Alabama, Eleanor (Murphy) Shell, Tuscaloosa, Alabama; Sister-In-Law: Alma Black Peck, Georgiana, Alabama; 11 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 6, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Herbert Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Milner Cemetery, Georgiana, Alabama with Johnson Funeral Home, Georgiana, Alabama directing arrangements.
