Allen Lenwood Blackburn, a resident of Georgiana, Alabama, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024, at the age of 87. He was the eldest son to Leon and Necie Ray Blackburn. He was born on March 14, 1937.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2024, beginning at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Harvill officiating and Johnson Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in Shackleville Cemetery, Georgiana, Alabama. The family will begin receiving friends for visitation starting at 2:00 p.m. until service time.

Mr. Allen is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Eddie Belle Blackburn; parents, Leon and Necie Ray Blackburn; brother, Ray Blackburn.

Mr. Allen is survived by 2 sons, Phil (Cathy) Blackburn, Keith (Teresa) Blackburn; daughter, Kaye (Clay) Nolan; 3 grand-sons, Matt (Jessica) Blackburn, Daniel (Ashley) Nolan, Carter Blackburn; 5 grand-daughters, Kayla (Reuben) Godwin, Megan Nolan, Melissa (Patton) Gunter, Heather (Blake) Pilcher, Ana Grace Blackburn, and 8 great grandchildren; in laws, Lloyd (Jane) Phillips, Reese Raybon, Sara Ellen (George) Caudill; brothers, Pat Blackburn (Sara), Rex Blackburn; sister-in-law, Brenda Blackburn.

Mr. Allen enjoyed a life of farming, gardening, and Auburn football. He began his career working for L & N Railroad and retired with CSX of 44 years.
